About the role
We are looking for an SAP BusinessObjects Developer to design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using SAP BusinessObjects tools. The role involves working understanding reporting needs, creating data models, and ensuring accurate and efficient data visualisation.
Key Skills Sets - Report Development
• Web Intelligence (WebI):
Proficiency in creating complex reports, including cross-tabs, charts, and interactive elements.
Should be able to use formulas, variables, and filters effectively
• Universe Design: Deep understanding of creating and maintaining BO Universes.
This includes:
Connecting to data sources.
Creating classes, objects, and measures.
Defining relationships between objects.
Implementing data security and access restrictions at the Universe level.
Performance optimisation of Universes.
• Querying and Data Retrieval: Strong SQL skills are required for this role.
This includes:
Writing complex SQL queries to extract data from different databases (SQL Server, BigQuery etc.) efficiently
Proficiency in database / data modelling
